Durham Wargames Group are a predominantly historical wargaming club (though science fiction and board games do also feature) with interests in a huge range of periods and scales – Ancients to Modern; 2mm to 54mm.
We have our own permanent secure premises with nearly 300 square feet of table space which is available 24/7. Enough to cater for the most demanding gamer!……of course, having our own premises enables us to leave games in progress ‘set up’ to come back to another day – a big advantage.
The club’s shared resources include an extensive collection of scenery in all scales (well, most scales) and a large library.
We are perhaps most famous for our showpiece games, whether at wargames shows across the North of Britain, or at our own, annual event.
If you’re interested in popping along to see us, coming to our show, inviting us to your show or just have something to say about anything relevant, please drop us a line at info@durhamwargames.co.uk
